Three outstanding opera productions will be presented in 2008. The Winter Season of Puccini's La Bohème will be performed in Wellington and Auckland during May and June. The National Tour of Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel will travel to 15 New Zealand centres from June to August and will feature the long-awaited directing debut of Michael Hurst. And we are thrilled to be working in partnership with the UK's Glyndebourne Festival Opera to bring Auckland and Wellington audiences The Genesis Energy Spring Season of Janácek's Jenufa - the first time this celebrated production will be seen in the Southern Hemisphere.
