The New Zealand Opera Foundation

The New Zealand Opera Foundation has been launched to offer opera lovers a new way of ensuring that opera remains a strong, confident and vibrant artform with a long-term solid base.

The fund will in future help to shelter the company from shifts in the economy as well as in sponsorship and box office. In time, the Foundation's contributions will create the opportunity for the company to stage seldom performed or more ambitious works with cast and creative teams of the highest quality.

Making a bequest to the New Zealand Opera Foundation is a lasting way for opera lovers to support opera's future in this country.
