  • Your company name will be listed on a specially designed page in all souvenir programmes throughout the year.

  • Membership entitles each Supper Club member and a guest to attend two events at Mollies small luxury hotel (Auckland) or Logan Brown restaurant (Wellington). These member-only events will coincide with our 2010 operas, The Marriage of Figaro and Macbeth, and will offer members the exclusive opportunity to meet lead singers and creative personnel from both productions and hear "sneak previews" from the soloists.

  • Two ticket packages per member to each opera, on the night of your choice OR if you book your complimentary tickets on a specified night during the season you will receive: A pre-performance glass of wine with Aidan Lang and a brief introduction to the opera; Gold tickets, interval hosting, and a souvenir programme, posted in advance; A post-performance backstage tour; three additional events - Lunch with the Mayor of Auckland or Mayor of Wellington, A cocktail function at Government House or Premier House, an exclusive event hosted by a Supper Club member, to the mutual benefit of NZO and the member's business organisation. This will be an annual opportunity offered exclusively to members to promote their business, launch a product, or simply have a party in their choice of venue.

Did you know?

An English translation of the opera is projected on surtitles above the stage during our performances.

Early opera resembled the atmosphere of a race course - chatting, food, laughter and loud comments were the norm.

If you are 25 years old or under you can purchase $25 tickets at the venue box office before any performance.

The world's longest opera is Wagner's The Ring Cycle, lasting over 14 hours plus intervals. That's 18 hours at the theatre.

The world's longest applause lasted for 1 hour and 20 minutes as a standing ovation. The opera: Otello starring Placido Domingo.

On average, an opera will last between 2 and 3 hours, with one interval in a two act show, and two in a three act show. Operettas and musicals tend to be shorter.
