Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking tickets through this Site. By using The NBR New Zealand Opera’s online booking forms, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

CURRENCY

All prices listed on this website and other promotional material are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are GST inclusive.

DELIVERY POLICY

Subscription bookings made using our online booking form are pre-purchased. When the online purchase is completed you will receive confirmation via email with a booking number. Your order will be processed by the NZO Box Office and tickets will be mailed before the Xerxes season begins to the address given in the contact details section of the form.

REFUNDS/RETURNS POLICY

There are no refunds or returns on tickets purchased through the NZO Box Office or of any booking fee (including but not limited to where a ticket has been stolen, damaged or destroyed, or where the ticket holder’s personal circumstances have changed) except as required by applicable laws in the place of purchase and at the discretion of The NBR New Zealand Opera. Nothing in this section limits or restricts any rights or remedies which the ticket holder may have by law.

EXCHANGE POLICY

Subscription tickets may be exchanged as required by the purchaser within each opera season, subject to availability of seating at the requested alternative performance.

LOST TICKET PASS

In the event that subscription tickets are lost in the post, they cannot be reprinted due to the potential for duplication or fraud. Under these special circumstances purchasers can obtain a lost ticket pass by contacting the NZO Box Office at bookings@nzopera.co.nz.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of a performance cancellation, the purchase will be refunded directly to the original purchaser. In the event of a postponement, purchased tickets for the original date will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified by The NBR New Zealand Opera. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting bookings@nzopera.co.nz prior to the replacement date for the postponed show. In the event that The NBR New Zealand Opera authorises ticket refunds for a postponed event, they will be issued only to the original purchaser. Note: booking fees will not be refunded.

CHANGES TO PROGRAMMING

The NBR New Zealand Opera reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes, prices, seating arrangements and audience capacity at their discretion.

TERMS OF ADMISSION

The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the venue's terms of admission, copies of which are available from THE EDGE or Ticketek on request. Late arrival at a performance may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance.

PAYMENT SECURITY

The NBR New Zealand Opera wants to ensure you purchase online with complete confidence. We have taken every possible measure to give you absolute security and confidence in your dealings with us by using a third party payment provider, DPS (Payment Express). DPS have a dedicated and purpose built development and data centre, specially designed for payments processing. DPS have invested and continue to re-invest in state of the art, bank grade security and infrastructure. DPS are fully certified as Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP (PCI-DSS) compliant at processor level; using an approved QSA for quarterly scans on systems and full onsite audits, annually. All sensitive information is encrypted with the 3DES protocol, with Atalla Network Security Processors.
